What Luxury Coliving in Bali Really Costs Per Month (2027 Price Tables)

By Chloe Bennett · July 3, 2026

Luxury coliving in Bali costs between $1,800 and $4,500 per
month in 2027, depending on area and tier.
A private ensuite
suite with a dedicated desk in a premium Canggu or Pererenan house runs
$1,800–$2,600/month; a top-tier suite with private terrace, ergonomic
office setup, daily housekeeping and chef service runs
$2,800–$4,500/month. That figure typically includes fibre internet
(300Mbps+ at the houses we verify), utilities, twice-weekly or daily
cleaning, and community programming. It does not include scooter or car
hire, most meals, or your E33G
remote-worker visa
costs.

That’s the answer. Now let me show you the receipts, because “luxury
coliving” is the most abused phrase in Bali’s accommodation market, and
I’ve walked through more than sixty of these houses since 2021 with a
speed-test app open and a checklist in hand.

The 2027 price tables, by
area

These are real asking rates I collected in November and December 2026
from operators I’ve either placed guests with or personally inspected.
All prices are per person, per month, for stays of 28 nights or longer.
At roughly Rp 16,300 to the dollar (check the current rate before you
budget), I’ve given both currencies where useful.

Canggu & Berawa

Tier Monthly rate What you get
Entry “luxury” $1,800–$2,200 (Rp 29–36 jt) Private ensuite room, shared pool, coworking lounge, 200–300Mbps
shared fibre
Mid premium $2,300–$2,900 Larger suite, dedicated desk + monitor, daily cleaning, quieter
block
Top tier $3,000–$4,200 Suite with terrace, private or semi-private office, chef breakfasts,
Starlink failover

Pererenan

Pererenan runs 5–10% above equivalent Canggu product because supply
is tighter and the buyer profile skews senior. Expect $2,000–$4,500. If
you want to understand why the village commands that premium, I wrote a
full field guide in my Pererenan digital nomad
guide
.

Ubud

$1,600–$3,200. The ceiling is lower because the top of the market in
Ubud is boutique-wellness rather than executive-work oriented. Verify
wifi twice as hard here — jungle valleys and fibre don’t always
cooperate.

Uluwatu & Bingin

$1,900–$3,800. Newer stock, beautiful cliffside settings, but
distances are long and the best houses sell out four to eight weeks
ahead in high season (July–September).

Sanur

$1,700–$2,800. The quiet performer: flat, calm, excellent fibre, and
increasingly popular with founders in their 40s and 50s who want zero
nightlife bleed.

What
the monthly rate should include (and what to interrogate)

At the price points above, I hold operators to a specific standard
before I’ll recommend them. Use this as your interrogation list:

  1. Verified connectivity, not “fast wifi.” Ask for a
screenshot of a wired speed test taken that week, and ask what the
failover is. The houses I place guests in average 300Mbps+ down on fibre
with Starlink or a second ISP as backup. “It’s usually fine” is not an
answer a senior engineer or fund manager should accept.
  2. A real workspace. An ergonomic chair (not a dining
chair), a desk at proper height, and ideally an external monitor.
Roughly half the “coliving” houses in Bali still fail this basic test in
    2027.
  3. Cleaning frequency in writing. Daily at the top
tier, minimum twice weekly at entry luxury.
  4. Utilities capped or included. Air-conditioning in a
Bali wet season is not a rounding error; uncapped electricity clauses
    can add $80–$150/month.
  5. Community programming that respects work hours.
Founder dinners and Sunday surf trips: yes. Tuesday 2pm “mandatory
family lunch”: a flag that the house is built for a younger, less
    work-serious crowd.

The hidden
costs nobody puts on the pricing page

Budget another $600–$1,500/month on top of your coliving rate for a
comfortable premium month:

According to Indonesia’s official immigration portal, the E33G is
granted for stays of up to one year (evisa.imigrasi.go.id), which is
exactly why coliving operators now write 3-, 6- and 12-month rate cards
— the longer commitments earn 8–15% discounts almost everywhere I
checked.

Coliving vs a
private villa at the same budget

At $3,000+/month, you genuinely have a choice: a top-tier coliving
suite or your own one-bedroom pool villa with housekeeping. The trade is
community and zero-effort logistics versus privacy and total control of
your acoustic environment. I’ve written a full decision framework in coliving vs a private villa
in Bali
, but the one-line version: if you take more than three hours
of calls a day, lean villa; if you’re building a network in a new
market, lean coliving.

For the broader category — which operators clear my bar, how I verify
them, and current availability — start with the main luxury coliving in Bali guide, which I
keep updated as houses open and standards slip or improve.

How I verify these numbers

I’m Saskia — I ran distributed engineering teams remotely for nine
years before relocating to Pererenan in 2021, and I’ve placed 200+
senior professionals into month-long, workspace-ready stays since. Every
house on my list gets a personal visit, a wired and wireless speed test,
a power-cut question (“what happened during the last outage?”), and a
follow-up review from the guests I send. When a house drops below
standard, it comes off the list. That’s the whole methodology, and it’s
why the numbers above are narrower and higher than the blog-spam
averages you’ll find elsewhere.

Ready to price your own
month?

If you want current, dated availability and exact quotes for your
dates — rather than internet averages — send me your
dates and budget band via the reserve page
and I’ll come back with
two or three verified options, usually within a day. Prefer to talk it
through first? Message me on
WhatsApp
and tell me your work setup (call load, time zone, monitor
needs) — that’s the detail that actually determines which house will
make your month excellent. Or start from the beginning at Bali Digital Nomad Luxury and browse everything we
verify.

Prices collected November–December 2026 and reviewed January
2027. Exchange rates move; always confirm current quotes.
